    In addition, in September Lille is one of the most visited cities thanks to La Grande Braderie de Lille. At the end of each summer, Lille becomes the largest antiques market in Europe: between one and two million visitors walk the streets of the city, accompanied by music and entertainment.
    Usually organized on the first weekend of September, in 2024 we will be lucky to have it organized on the weekend before congress on September 14th-15th, an exceptional opportunity to enjoy getting to know La Grande Braderie de Lille and discover the festive atmosphere of Lille.

  • How to get to Lille ?

  •  The Grand Palais of Lille is located at the gateway of A1 and A22 freeways.

    Six motorways lead to Lille:
    A1 from Paris (220 km),
    A22 / E17 from Ghent (75 km), Antwerp (125 km) and Amsterdam (290 km),
    A23 from Valenciennes (53 km),
    A25 from Dunkerque (80 km),
    A26 from Calais (110 km),
    A27 / E42 from Brussels (110 km).

    Situated just 500 metres from one another, Lille's two train stations are located in the city centre and are served by both the subway and the tram.

    Lille Flandres Station: TER regional trains and direct TGV service to Paris.
    Lille Europe Station: Eurostar service to London and Brussels, direct TGV service to Roissy Airport, Paris and all major French cities.

    Brussels: 38 mn, 14 TGV and Eurostar trains a day
    Paris: 1h, 26 direct TGVs a day
    London: 80 mn
    Lyon: 3h, 11 direct TGVs a day
    Rennes: 3h50, 4 direct TGVs a day

    Lille-Lesquin International Airport is 10 km from the centre of Lille.

    It serves over 70 national and international destinations.

    Flibco is a bus company that provides connections between several airports in the area and Lille city centre (stop at Lille Flandre, in front of the CIC building, opposite Place des Buisses):
    • Lille-Lesquin airport > Lille city centre: journey time: duration: 20 min ;
    • Brussels Charleroi Airport > Lille city centre: journey time: duration: 1h45 ;
    • Brussels Zaventem Airport > Lille city centre: duration: 1h30.
    In order to support respect the environment and for example prevent higher air pollution, we would like to recommend attendees take advantage of the city’s public transport system to travel to / from the Lille Grand Palais venue:

    There are 4 metro stations close by Lille Grand Palais:

    - Lille Grand Palais within a 7 minute walk

    - Lille Town Hall within a 6 minute walk

    - Lille Flandres station a 9 minute walk

    - Lille Europe within a 9 minute walk

    If you go by bus, take either of the following buses: Citadine 1 and get off at the Zenith stop.
    Rent a bike with V’Lille in the self-service stations situated in Lille and surroundings. 

    By bike: « Zenith » station in front of Lille Grand Palais and 2 V’Lille stations at 4 minutes by foot: Cité administrative and Hôtel de région
